Numbers for Agents is a developer API that gives AI agents real phone numbers. An agent can send and receive SMS, answer and place calls, and pass call audio to the voice stack its developers already use. We are in private development and are building the product with the developers on our waitlist.
What we build
We build telecom plumbing for agents: number provisioning, SMS in and out, call events, signed webhooks, SIP trunking, and WebSocket media streams. We do not ship a bundled voice assistant. Your code, your model, or a provider such as Vapi, Bland, or Retell stays in charge of the conversation.
Who it is for
- Teams that run support, scheduling, or sales agents over SMS or voice.
- Agent platforms that need one number per customer or per agent, created through an API.
- Developers who already have a voice pipeline and need a reliable phone line for it.
What we do not support
Numbers for Agents is not for OTP or account verification bypass, and not for bulk unsolicited messaging. We plan to launch with US and Canada numbers, then add regions based on waitlist demand. We will publish a country matrix before general availability.
Status
The product is in private development. The public waitlist API is live and documented on the docs page. We send invites in signup order when capacity allows. To reach us, see the contact page.
